Brand and industry tributes pour in for Prince

Tributes from musicians, celebrities and brands have flooded in for iconic musician Prince, who died overnight. He was aged 57.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential musicians of the past 40 years, the artist was found dead at his Paisley recording studio in Minnesota, a week after being hospitalised with influenza.

Twitter was abuzz with condolence messages, with several brands changing their colour to purple.

Snapchat also honoured the singer, creating a purple rain geo filter. You can see it below.
