SYDNEY: Car distributor Ateco Automotive has kicked off a review of the media buying across its brands, AdNews exclusively revealed today [12 February, page 3].
Ateco, which imports vehicles from Citroen, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Fiat, Chery and Great Wall Motors, has approached several media agencies through pitch consultant The Clinic.
PHD and its previous incarnation in Australia, Total Advertising & Communications, has handled all media buying for Ateco for at least 10 years.
In October 2009, Ateco split strategic media and digital planning duties from the media account for Great Wall Motors, appointing Match to work alongside PHD.
