Do we like M&C's latest campaign, or do we love it?

Cricket Australia isn't just hoping you like its new TV ads - it's hoping you'll love them.

In preparation for the new summer of cricket which will feature a touring South African side, Cricket Australia commissioned hip-hop artist Illy to re-mix 10CC's famous cricket anthem Dreadlock Holiday to help promote one-day international fixtures.

Meanwhile 10CC's Graham Gouldman has remixed a version for the test series against India and Australian DJ, radio host, and TV presenter Grant Smillie has produced an electronic dance version of the original hit for T20 fixtures.

The ads are the first from from M&C Saatchi, which was appointed back in July

“Our maiden campaign for Cricket Australia celebrates what we love about summer; the fours, the sixes and Mitch Johnston taking wickets,” said M&C's Sport & Entertainment Managing Director Jamie Gilbert-Smith said.

“It’s going to be an unprecedented summer of cricket and what we hope is just the beginning of a successful partnership with Cricket Australia.”

The T20 and 50-over version TV spots are currently airing while the Test remix will air on October 13.
