EXCLUSIVE: Whybin Group's Digital Arts Network (formerly Tequila) general manager Cecile Ferre has decamped to DDB Sydney.
At DDB, Ferre will be the digital director on the Telstra account but will also work across Tribal DDB.
Ferre served as DAN's general manager for almost two years and was previously the agency's head of production. She has also worked at AKQA, Schematic and Agency Republic.
Meanwhile at DAN, Liz Harper has joined as general manager and digital director of Whybin TBWA Group Sydney. She was most recently strategic business lead for Google at BBH. Her role at BBH included strategy development and creative campaigns across a suite of Google products such as Chrome and YouTube. She's also worked for Crispin Porter Bogusky.
Whybin TBWA Group Sydney chief executive Paul Bradbury said: “This is a critical hire for our company and believe me, we searched high and low. Liz has a creative and digital pedigree you don't find every day.”
DAN creative director Russ Tucker said: “Liz is a true collaborator. She's worked in some of the best agencies globally and with some of the most innovative brands. She brings with her a deep understanding of how brands and digital platforms can work together beyond traditional marketing.”
Harper said: “I'm honoured and humbled to be joining the management team at Whybin and look forward to partnering with Russ to lead the stellar team at DAN.”
