EXCLUSIVE: Telstra is set to relaunch its revamped online advertising unit with a raft of acquisitions and content alliances which will trade as the Telstra Advertising Network.
The company flagged a restructure in June in which the BigPond, Sensis and Classifieds advertising operations would be merged.
The announcement, due imminently, is expected to unveil several acquisitions and new content alliances as part of the telco giant's bid to revive its online revenue performance.
One initiative is the Automotive Alliance, which will create what is claimed to be the largest automotive editorial audience and second biggest online automotive network in the country through a partnerhsip with caradvice.com.au, tradingpost.com.au, carshowroom.com.au and carbuddy.com.au.
A number of similar alliances across other industry sectors are also expected.
