Pizza Hut takes on McDonald's with burger move

“You must be super-friendly, out-going, and happy to become famous!” These are the requirements for Pizza Hut's new job opening in Sydney. The restaurant chain is taking on McDonald's and moving into burgers. It's looking for an expert to help.

The pizza restaurant is hiring for one week only to promote its move into burger territory, challenging one of its biggest fast food competitors McDonald’s. It ran a full page press ad in Sydney's free commuter paper mX yesterday appealing to McDonald's fans.

The lucky candidate will spend a week consuming Pizza Hut's new burgers and pizza and assist in promotions by spreading the word.

To apply, burger lovers must submit 50 words explaining why they should be Pizza Hut's new burger expert and detail exactly why they love burgers.

The big draw is the winners' weekly pay cheque of $2,000 - probably needed to pay for a health bill immediately afterwards.
