My Kitchen Rules continued to score well for Seven as it held steady in the ratings war last night to take the top spot.
My Kitchen Rules commanded an audience of 1.65 million metro viewers, according to preliminary OzTam figures. The show attracted 1.38 million and 1.64 million viewers earlier this week.
Nine News marginally won the battle against the first half-hour of Seven's news bulletin with 1.18 million viewers to the latter's 1.13 million people. In a turnaround, Nine's A Current Affair out-rated the second half of Seven News with 1.07 million to Seven's 1.02 million. On Tuesday night, Nine trailed Seven by almost 400,000 viewers in the same timeslot.
Ten's highest rating program was Ten News which garnered 662,000 viewers. The network ran two episodes of the youth-oriented US series Glee last night, which was ranked 11th and 12th in the 16 to 39 and 18 to 49 demographics respectively.
Across the main channels, Seven won the day with 27.6% of audience share, followed by Nine with 17.8%, the ABC with 14.7% while Ten slipped into single digits with 9.7% share. SBS had 4.8%.
