DDB Sydney has added former Publicis Mojo and Droga5 creative Steve Jackson to its team as creative director to work on the agency's McDonald's business.
Jackson will partner with creative director Cameron Hoelter, working primarily on the fast food giant's campaigns.
Jackson was most recently at Droga5 but has previously done stints at Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis Mojo Melbourne. At Mojo, he worked on lauded campaigns for Tourism Victoria, Nike and Toyota.
DDB Sydney executive creative director Dylan Harrison said: “I've been wanting to work with Steve ever since I arrived back in Australia almost three years ago. He's simply outstanding within the industry. I'm chuffed he's joining us and thrilled to be welcoming such an awarded creative into the DDB family.
“His secret is always blending populist appeal and intelligent wit. He'll be a great fit at DDB, a true leader and inspiration to the department.”
Yesterday, DDB announced staff changes for its digital arm Tribal. Last month, AdNews revealed creative team Steve Wakelam and Nick Pringle had resigned.
