Data company Veda Advantage has appointed Belgiovane Williams Mackay to the creative account for its carhistory.com.au website.
BWM's Sydney office won the account after a four-way pitch. BWM will launch the brand to consumers and attempt to position the website as vital consulting tool when purchasing a used-car.
Carhistory.com.au provides information and history reports on used cars. The website launched in April 2010.
BWM will launch a campaign for the brand, across TV, print, digital and out-of-home.
Carhistory's Julie Coffey said: "BWM was the perfect fit for this creative campaign. Their strategic approach and creative ideas nailed the brief as we move into this new chapter for the brand."
The appointment comes as BWM confirmed eight redundancies in its Sydney office last week after the loss the Telstra account last month. The agency's Melbourne office recently won the coveted Kmart creative account.
