$13 million Priceline media pitch in play

The main media account for Priceline in in play, AdNews understands.

Media buying for the discount chemist chain is currently handled by Brisbane-based Media Merchants.

According to Nielsen data, which doesn't include search, Priceline spent $13.3m on advertising in calendar year 2013.

Trinity P3 is understood to be handling the pitch process, which is now thought to be at the shortlist stage with five agencies vying for the account.
