BRISBANE: Bank of Queensland (BOQ) has kicked off an open review of its creative arrangements following the end of its four-year contract with Clemenger BBDO.
Last month the bank introduced the tagline "your own personal bank" in an ad campaign following an 18-month brand repositioning.
In announcing the review, BOQ head of brand and marketing services Greg Abbey said: “Over the past few years we have started to build an agency model to meet our unique needs. Our next step is to review the communications agency and formalise our roster, which includes existing strategy, creative and media partners.
“We now have a clearly defined brand strategy and positioning. We have relaunched the brand and are now looking forward to the next evolution.”
The initial RFP closes on 24 March and a final decision is expected to be made in May.
Clemenger Brisbane managing director Kurt Viertel declined to comment on the review.
