MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS

Advertisements should be supplied electronically via the Quickcut delivery system. Quickcut holds all AdNews specifications and will check that incoming material meets the requirements. For more information contact Quickcut on 02 9938 7500 or visit www.quickcut.com.au

We accept files via Websend (click here to register http://www.websend.com.au/register) Websend checks your ad to ensure it lives up to our printing specification. Once your ad has been validated you can deliver it instantly. For more details call Websend toll free 1300 798 949

If material cannot be supplied via Quickcut or Websend it should be supplied electronically on CD or zip disc with a colour proof. Files should be in Mac format, preferably as a Quark document, including all fonts used. Otherwise EPS files - Illustrator, Freehand, Photoshop - or others which can be placed in Quark. All fonts, scans and EPS files must be supplied with all colours created in CMYK. Do not supply colours created in RGB. Scanned images should have a resolution of 300 dpi at their final size.

A colour proof must be supplied. AdNews will only be responsible for accurate colour reproduction of a digital file if a colour digital proof is supplied in accordance with 3DAP guidelines. See www.3dap.com.au for details of approved proofing systems.
PMS colours will be matched as closely as possible using CMYK colours, however there are many PMS colours that cannot be matched closely using CMYK. Special PMS colours can be printed by prior arrangement, but an additional charge of $800 per colour will apply.

For Recruitment and Marketplace advertisements, material can be supplied electronically via Quickcut or emailed to adnewsads@yaffa.com.au provided the file is less than 5Mb. Larger files should be supplied on disc with a proof or sent via Quickcut. Files are preferred in Mac format, preferably as a Quark document, including all fonts used. SPECS

* Maximum file size 39K.
* Include click-through URL.
* Files can be Flash (swf files), static GIFs or animated GIFs.
* Flash files should be in Flash 7 format.
* If supplying Flash files a backup GIF must also be supplied.
* The website will target browsers that work with the ad through our ad server - unsupported browsers will be served the alternative GIF file supplied.
* Animation must not contain strobing effects.
* Looping should be continuous.
* The creative should not disable fields or functionality of the site.
* The creative should not disable browser back buttons or force any plugins to be downloaded.
