William Hill marketing director Claire Murphy has left the betting company as part of a reshuffle of its marketing function following the appointment of Tom Waterhouse as CEO of the group.

The marketing team for William Hill's brands Sportingbet.com.au, Centrebet and Tom Waterhouse have been combined into one team of around 40 marketers.

Former commercial director at the Tom Waterhouse Group and COO of the William Hill Group Issac Ward has taken on responsibility for the marketing department and will oversee all three brands as well as the parent brand William Hill.

Murphy joined in August last year and was behind Sportingbet's Shane Warne campaign, which ran ahead of the World Cup. She also oversaw the media agency review that saw UM pick up the business in December.
