Paul Yole, director of agency development at Perth-based shop The Brand Agency, which is currently AdNews State Agency of the Year, is stepping down from his role.

The Brand Agency is behind the award winning and much lauded campaign for St John Ambulance (pictured).

Yole, who has been with the agency, since 2007 took on a "whole of business" remit in 2013. He will remain in place until the end of the year and will gradually hand over his responsibilities and retire from the agency's national board in July 2016.

“I feel like we’ve got the Agency and the people in a really good place and I can step back gradually and play more of a guiding role,” he said.

Brand CEO Steve Harris said: "Any way you look at it Paul’s been a key driver of our business and creative success, and the vibrancy of the industry. He’s played a critical role in the success of The Brand Agency, and of everyone who works here. As well as his importance to our culture and the quality of the work we produce, he has tirelessly worked to raise our standards and encourage our people and our clients to think big.”

In three of the seven years he has been with The Brand Agency it has been named Campaign Brief WA Agency of the Year and has won State Agency of the Year titles with B&T and AdNews.
