Pizza Hut is hoping the lure of limited edition nail polish is enough to get fans writing sappy pizza-related Valentine's Day poems as it once again aims to take advantage of the most romantic day on earth.

The brand is aiming to hijack Valentine's Day to give it some marketing oomph, and has described its latest effort as a world-first.

It is giving away 35 Pizza Hut Supreme Style polish packs, available to fans who jump on Pizza Hut Australia's Facebook Page and leave a sappy (possibly cheesy) poem.

The campaign follows on from Pizza Hut's well-publicised issue of “Eau de Pizza Hut” perfume in 2013, which left people smelling like roses (or the pizza equivalent, pepperoni).

“The Pizza Hut Supreme Style collection celebrates what we love about pizza and we couldn’t think of a better time than Valentine’s Day for those looking for a truly memorable gift!” Pizza Hut Australia head of marketing and innovation Fatima Syed said.

“Each of the fresh and bright polish colours were inspired by our menu, whether it be an ingredient, or one of our favourite pizza flavours like Voracious Vege and Sparkling Supreme.”

If you're so inclined, the competition ends at 12pm this Friday.
