Social content curation and publishing platform Stackla has partnered with social relationship platform Hootsuite, meaning users can now use Stackla's content marketing tools direct in the Hootsuite dashboard.

Stackla is a business that works with brands to make the most out of their user generated content, such as individuals tweeting about brands or taking photos on Instagram of products and then posting about them.

Stackla's algorithm can then bring them all into one spot and allows a brand to republish them.

This paired system has already been used in live implementations by a number of clients, including the City of Sydney, which used the system during last year’s New Year’s Eve ceremony to efficiently find, filter and display tweets on the Sydney Harbour Bridge in real time.

Prior to this partnership, marketers would have to use both platforms in tandem in order to effectively monitor and harness tweets in social media focused marketing campaigns.

"This partnership reflects that marketers have adopted a broad array of digital tools and they are increasingly looking for these technologies to talk to each other," said Stackla co-founder and CEO Damien Mahoney.

"This allows customers to manage their social media presence via Hootsuite while curating and displaying the best user generated content via their online properties using Stackla, all through a single solution."

The plugin also allows Hootsuite users to maintain full control over the display of their social content from the Hootsuite dashboard with built-in moderation controls. The integrated listening and display solution makes the tool ideal for live events and responsive marketing campaigns.

“User-generated content has become massive within brand marketing, driving a fundamental shift in in the way marketers need to think not only about their social media marketing, but all their marketing containing consumer stories/endorsements,” Mahoney said.

“Content curation is crucial for digital marketers to provide relevant content for their followers,” said Kevin Zellmer, global director of enterprise business development at Hootsuite. “That’s why I’m excited about the Stackla app for Hootsuite. With this integration, users can easily discover and publish this content to widgets, apps, event screens and more.”
