Looking to make money from social on mobile? Tumblr may just be the way to do it, with the photo blogging site driving the highest revenue per visit from mobile devices, 39% more than Facebook, according to Adobe.

While it may not be the highest when it comes to revenue per user, Pinterest is the most mobile social network with 64% of its referrals triggered via mobile browsers according to Adobe's US Mobile Benchmark Report, which examines mobile trends including Wi-Fi versus cellular usage, the correlation of screen size and browser market share and the role of social networks across smartphones and tablets.

Another key finding from the survey was that without a larger screen phone, Apple’s mobile browser share is expected to further decline.

Apple's much hyped iPhone 6 is expected to have both a model with a 4.7 and 5.5 inch screen.

According to Adobe, phones with larger screens drive more web traffic with web browsing on four-inch or larger phones grew by 132 percent year-over-year (YoY) while browsing on smaller phones (four-inch or less) decreased by 11 percent YoY. In addition, tablet browsing flattened and only saw a minor increase of 1.8 percent YoY.

When it comes to iBeacons,18% of mobile marketers already use Apple iBeacons, with that number expected to double in 2015 to 36%. 49% of marketers already use Geo Targeting (GPS) with 48.8% planing to add it over next 12 months.
