Berlei has appointed The Monkeys to lead its creative account as the brand celebrates its centenary year anniversary.

The account is the second win for The Monkeys since it was bought by Accenture in May. The agency also picked up Pizza Hut in March.

Host produced a number of campaigns for Berlei in the past, starring brand ambassador Serena Williams. Earlier this year, the brand released a campaign from Emotive and Parlour Creative that featured Williams dancing in her underwear.

“Berlei is at a pivotal point as we turn 100 years old. We have partnered with The Monkeys to reset the benchmark and create a remarkable foundation as we enter our next 100 years and release new ranges to support it," Berlei marketing manager Zoe Hayes.

The Monkeys cofounder and CEO Mark Green says: “Berlei is an iconic Australian brand with brave marketers at the helm. We are looking forward to playing our part in the brand’s next chapter.”

New creative work is expected to roll out from August.
