The judges behind Emerging Leaders 2019

AdNews’ annual Emerging Leaders lists has been revealed and this year we’re also revealing the judges who were involved in the process.

We tapped experts from the big holding groups, as well as professional coaches, to select the top 20 leaders.

Here is the list of judges:

Pauly Grant
Pauly is Chief Talent Officer at Publicis Groupe. She has more than 20 years’ experience in Human Resources, Operations, Organisational Transformation, Employee Engagement, and Training and Development. Pauly has spent the last 12 years in media, more recently expanding her remit to encompass the creative sector. She is an extremely passionate culture leader, driven to help people become their best selves both at home and at work.

Katrina Hatfield
Katrina is General Manager of Sales and Marketing for Commtract, an online marketplace for communications professionals. Katrina started her career in marketing in 2008 and worked for ANZ in Singapore and Hong Kong, returning to Melbourne in 2013. She is now happily back home in Sydney and working for a fast-moving tech start-up within the recruitment world.

Andrew Sherman
Before becoming an Executive Coach, Andrew spent more than two decades in leadership roles in marketing services organisations. He started his media career in the UK, moving on to become a founding media director of M&C Saatchi, later joining Publicis Groupe in Australia. As a certified coach with operational expertise, Andrew supports leaders to facilitate change, develop organisational capabilities, and assist them in discovering new possibilities.

Arthur Georgiou
Arthur has spent 15 years working in talent acquisition for a variety of global organisations and SMEs. His breadth of experience across agency, RPO and internal environments has provided a strong working knowledge of best practice strategic recruitment and HR management. As Strategic Recruitment Manager for SCA, Arthur is leading SCA’s focus in the D&I area ensuring the radio group attracts and retains a diverse workforce.

Stevie Douglas-Neal
Stevie is the Chief Client Officer and Head of HR at PHD. She has been working in media for 17 years, across multiple markets. She leads a national team that works across large multi-national tech, CPG, and data-led brand response clients, work which has been regularly awarded locally, regionally and globally. Her great passion is for people: consumers, clients and the team. Obviously a glutton for punishment, she manages work, travel, team and clients with a family and post graduate study.

Sarah Palmer
Sarah heads up Talent Management for Leo Burnett in Australia. She’s passionate about people, helping to find the best in the world and helping them to bring out their best. Starting her career at Perth agency, Marketforce, and then working almost seven years at Clemenger BBDO Sydney, she joined Leo Burnett in 2004. She is keenly focused on diversity and inclusion and is the current Chair of the industry’s body, The Agency Circle.

Clint Parr
Clint Parr is a self-confessed people and culture geek. He has spent the past several years working as Head of People and Culture with some of Australia’s best and biggest advertising agencies. More recently, Clint founded A Lion & The Vibes – a people and culture consultancy, which works with agencies and tech start-ups to help them get the best out of their people by aligning their people and culture initiatives to the company’s vision.
