Seven's The Force: Behind the Line

You know it was a quiet night when the top-rating non-news program has a ratings dip of 28% and still manages to beat out its nearest competitors.

While news programs from channels Seven and Nine took out the podium places on the overnight figures, The Force-Behind the Line managed fourth place with viewers of 903,000.

While this in itself is impressive, it suffered by not having its Border Security stablemate alongside, shedding just over 220,000 viewers week-on-week after having 1.12 million viewers last week.

Meanwhile, Home and Away keeps on performing well for Seven, adding another 838,000 from the overnight news figures.

Big Brother also continued to do well in younger-skewing demographics, but David Attenborough's Life series continued to outdo it in overall figures, pulling in 733,000 viewers in the night to Big Brother's 583,000.

Channel Ten shows The Good Wife and Wonderland continue to pick up timeshifted viewers despite both shows having fallen outside the top 20.

Wonderland added 28% from timeshift viewers to a consolidated figure of 571,000 while The Good Wife added an extra 51% from timeshift to land a consolidated viewer figure of 388,000.

However, Criminal Minds led the timeshifted audfience with another 17%, making its consolidated figure 923,000.

Overall Seven had a 4.6% win for the night, with it managing a share of 33% to Nine's 28.4%.

Meanwhile the ABC rode shows like The Chaser's Media Circus and Mad as Hell to win an 18.6% share to Ten's 15.5%.
