A seventies desert drive, a good dude, some bad dudes. The Dude. A cosmonaut. Or an angel?
A beautifully crafted short film by director by Ivan Zacharias for Kahlúa epitomises brand story telling - and also manages to put the product at the centre. Who said it needs to be an afterthought?
Bridges, el Duderino himself, tells the story of a white-clad Russian astronaut that falls from the sky into the desert, enabling his younger self to escape some black clad bad guys.
The four-minute short has lots of action, some dark, broody moments but blends it with plenty of swirly, lingering product shot. Pretty smooth.
