New Idea names new editor-in-chief

Pacific Magazine's group publisher of weekly titles, Fiona Legdin, has announced the appointment of Louisa Hatfield as editor-in-chief of New Idea.

Hatfield has been acting editor-in-chief for the past 12 months, while incumbent Kim Wilson was on maternity leave. Wilson has decided not to return to the role, which she had held for five years.

ADMA calls for entries

The Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising has fired the starter's pistol on its Australian Creativity and Effectiveness (AC&E) Awards, calling for entries.

The AC&E Awards were established last year to replace the ADMA Awards, with the focus now on campaign that are creative and effective in equal measure.

This year will see the introduction of the Creative of the Year award, along with 30 other categories. Entries can be submitted to http://www.acandeawards.com by 5pm on 29 June.
