The Bulletin: MediaCom pinches from IPG; Rubicon goes mobile

Dean Shell heads to MediaCom Melbourne

MediaCom Melbourne has pinched IPG's group director, Dean Shell, to become MediaCom's group business director.

Shell will report into MediaCom Melbourne's general manager Any Havercroft, and will oversee MediaCom's content plus connections planning and business leadership across some of the agency's key clients.

He starts with MediaCom immediately.

Rubicon crosses the mobile divide

Rubicon Project is now in the mobile native game, launching a new platform at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona.

The new product allows publishers and app developers to sell in-house native inventory directly, alongside indirect deals.

Rubicon also debuted OpenRTB 2.3 at the event, which allows sellers to deliver native campaigns programmatically.
