M2M pinches Glazier from Bohemia

Omnnicom agency M2M has made Emma Glazier its head of social, having previously been the social strategic lead on Lion Nathan for Bohemia.

It marks a return to the Omnicom group for Glazier, as she previously built a national social media offering for PHD.

Glazier starts in the role from today.

Carat beefs up strategy

Sam Hegg has been promoted to Carat Australia's national head of product, with Laura Bartal shifted up to cover Hegg's now-previous role of head of strategy in Melbourne.

The promotions come just after Carat's chief strategy officer Gavin Ashcroft announced his departure to join the Walt Disney Company as chief marketing officer.

JWT and Group SJR launch content marketing division

JWT and Group SJR have today launched Australian content marketing agency, Colloquial, a unit of JWT with staff and projects across Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Colloquial will also launch in a number of other markets across the globe, to build publishing environments for brands, specializing in ‘middleweight content’ – defined as short articles, infographics and visual stories.

Colloquial Australia will be led by the general manager Zeina Khodr and content strategy director Ben Shipley.

 

TubeMogul integrates comScore

Video trading platform TubeMogul has announced that clients will have access to comScore's validated campaign essential tools directly from the TubeMogul platform.

It means that marketers will be able to measure audience reach from within the one platform rather than having to use a third party

The comScore solution reports the percentage of validated impressions that reached the advertiser's demographic and geographic audience.

Shark Tank renewed

Network Ten has renewed Shark Tank for a second series.

The first series reached 8.5 million viewers, averaging 793,000 viewers when taking into account live and encore audiences.

It also had 2.4 million views on Tenplay.

Brandscreen taps Lotame for third-party data solution

Media buying platform Brandscreen has struck a deal with Lotame to allow the platform to leverage Lotame's access to third-party data to increase its prospecting capabilities.

Under the deal, Brandscreen will use Lotame's data to create a profile of a client's customers and then find users who “look and act exactly like them”.

Clients will then be able to launch cross-platform campaigns across screens to target the lookalike customers.

Outbrain launches new tool

Outbrain, the content discovery platform, has launched Native In-Feed, a product that allows publishers to use its platform to serve native (in-stream) advertising.

Native In-Feed is built on top of Outbrain’s existing technology and enables publishers to deliver native ad campaigns, relying on Outbrain’s premium network, to fill unsold inventory. The solution works with all content types and delivers the content to mobile, tablet and desktop audiences.

“For publishers, Outbrain has become an increasingly integrated partner that helps them fully maximise the reach and impact of the breadth of content they serve, including native advertising,” said Matt Crenshaw, VP, Product Marketing.

SCA replaces Sydney content director

Content director of Southern Cross Austereo's (SCA) Hit101.4 station Adam Williscroft has been replaced, with Adelaide content director Irene Hulme taking on the role.

SCA confirmed the move with Sydney GM Jeremy Simpson saying: “We can confirm Irene Hulme has taken over the Content Director role at 2DayFM.

“Adam Williscroft will be taking a well-deserved break while we consider a number of other opportunities with SCA.”

In the last radio ratings, the station's breakfast team of Dan and Maz saw a 0.4 percentage point ratings slide, hitting 2.4% audience share.
