Athlete's Foot hires top marketer

The Athlete’s Foot Australia, a subsidiary of RCG Corporation, has hired Caroline Squire as its head of marketing. Squire's joins The Athlete’s Foot from skin care company Jurlique Australia where she held the positions of marketing manager – ANZ/Europe and global marketing director. Squires has 20 years’ marketing experience and over 10 years in senior marketing positions.

Presto goes mobile

Subscription video on demand service (SVOD) Presto will now be available on mobile, with the SVOD platform available through seelct iPhones and Android handsets. The announcement marks the first time Presto will be available on mobile handsets. The Presto app is now available in Apple's app store, the Google Play store, and the Samsung app store.

NewsLifeMedia takes on Delicious

NewsLifeMedia has taken on full ownership of the Delicious brand after 13 years of licencing it from the ABC. The latest issue, which is on sale today, will be the first created solely by NewsLifeMedia, with the brand also planning to extend itself further in the next few months with its own website. 

Gai Le Roy steps down

The Interactive Advertising Bureau's head of research, Gai Le Roy, will step down from the role for personal reasons but will remain on as an advisor.

The IAB confirmed the move this morning, saying that it had been on the lookout for a replacement for a number of weeks.

Sportingbet officially rebranded as William Hill

Bookmaker William Hill has announced its Sportingbet brand will be renamed William Hill as of tomorrow.

To move markets the official launch of the William Hill brand into the Australian market. Existing Sportingbet clients will be migrated to William Hill's new local website. It also announced that its other brands – Centrebet and TomWaterhouse.com – will be rebranded “in due course”.
