ARN installs Aussie first “Twitter Mirror”

Australian Radio Network (ARN) and Twitter have teamed up to create Australia's first custom built “Twitter Mirror”, designed to make it easier for listeners to engage with on-air talent and celebrities.

The tie-up sees the only permanently mounted “Twitter Mirror” anywhere in the world outside of Twitter's offices built into a specially made ARN Greenroom, which can be used to create personalised GIFs to be tweeted in real-time.

The social hub will be used by all of ARN's on-air talent across KIIS, WSFM, The Edge and IHeartRadio.

ARN national marketing director Anthony Xydis said: “As a socially engaged media and entertainment business, ARN are dedicated to reaching audiences wherever they are.”

“The elements of our new green room add a fun new approach and an exciting dimension to how our listeners interact with their favourite celebrities that feature on their favourite stations.”
