7Sport launches Apple Watch app

Sports fans will now be able to receive push notifications whenever their team scores a goal with a new app out from Yahoo!7 outfit 7Sport.

It said its existing iOS app was now compatible with the Watch, meaning punters can receive live scores straight to their wrists.

“For many Australians, checking sport is a daily habit or even a minute-by-minute experience when your favourite team is playing. The 7Sport app will provide audiences with access to the latest sporting updates all at a glance on the Apple Watch,” CEO of Yahoo!7 Ed Harrison said.

Tesco's switches to WPP

The 90 million pound client will head to MediaCom, and reportedly leaves IPG in somewhat of a pickle.

UM lost Microsoft as a client a year ago, which was IPG's biggest client in the UK. With the loss of another key client, rumours are swirling about how IPG will respond.Tesco's is switching to the Sir Martin Sorrell stable, with the account moving from IPG Mediabrands outfit Initiative.

Kontented hires

Australian content-lead creative services and strategy agency, Kontented, has appointed Adam Noakes as head of client Services and Jessica Doyle as client service manager. Sydney based Kontented was founded four years ago by managing director Kate Edwards and counts Universal Music, PlayStation, Nando’s and Kennards Hire amongst its clients.
