The Block: Glasshouse continues to be a juggernaught for Channel Nine, taking out the top spot in OzTAM's overnight ratings hitting 1,185,000 viewers nationally for the night.

The rennovation show took out the top spot in key demographics including 16-39, 18-49, and 25-54 age groups.

It was the highest rating show overall in the Melbourne market with 424,000 viewers, while news programs out-rated it in the other four major metro markets.

Overall, Nine had four out of five of the top rating programs while Channel Seven held six of the top ten rating programs for the night. Seven and Nine each snagged a 30.8% market share. Network Ten took home a 17.1% share for the evening with the ABC hitting 16.5% and SBS at 4.7%.

Of the non-news programs, Channel Seven's The Force came in at number six while Home and Away, Border Securitry, and Criminal Minds took spots eight through 10.

While Channel Ten's Big Brother proved the second most popular program in the 16-39 and 18-49 demographics, it could only manage 17 in the overall ratings.
