Sport, family and the great outdoors are the focus of the latest work from Telstra in a continuation of the magic brand platform launched in 2016.

From The Monkeys, the three ads all feature the same inspirational voiceover and music-style as the 2016 brand campaign, but promote various functions the telco can offer.

One ad shows a group of friends live streaming their favourite sport on the side of the road next to their broken down car.

Ahead of the upcoming AFL, NFL and Netball seasons, Telstra is using the campaign to show its service can be used to enjoy sport wherever you are; highlighting its data-free offering too.

In the second spot, a young girl is face timing a boy, frustrated by her family who keep interupting her conversation. The ad stars a multicultural cast and aims to promote the power of Telstra's Wi-Fi modems.

The last ad features extreme sports, a drone and a Live Facebook stream. It encourages people to update to a new handset.

This week, Telstra also unveiled digital work from R/GA that carries on the magic positioning and pushes its Smart Homes.
