A Media Bachelor contender?

As reported last month, Cleo's Media Bachelor is back and is ready for another stellar year, with this year's search becoming bigger and wider to find the most eligible bachelors in media and agency land.

From Network Ten, Cummins& Partners, Facebook, Carat and Val Morgan, to Nova, MediaCom, Ikon, Starcom, PHD, AOL – and more, we sure have had a smoking hot 'batch' of entries come in so far for this year's competition. But there's room for more.

There's heads of video, marketing directors, copywriters, creative directors, digital strategists, campaign specialist – even a deputy MD and a cheeky CEO in there. Whatever your title or role across the buzzing ad, media and marketing sector – we want your submissions.

One of our favourite Bachelor entries last year contained the motto of “Sun's out guns out”, and this year submissions contain some interesting wooing and date methods.

One potential Media Bachelor winner said: “Given that I work in social media I would use data-driven stats and insights to inform a finely-tuned but flexible date strategy. I would also ensure I have demonstrated my romantic credentials and the return of invesmsment of a relationship.”

One read simply, “Flex the guns”.

Another said: "I'd take her to Banff (look it up)”.

It seems a bit light across the ad tech sector and we thought there'd be a few more bearded creatives, but there's still time – don't delay.

While you may know of the competition from last year as Agency Bachelor of the Year, this year in the spirit of inclusion, those bachelors from media companies, client side and even the booming ad tech sector are welcome to throw their hats into the ring to fight it out for the coveted title of Media Bachelor of the Year.

Of course agency men are encouraged to enter to defend their title, with the question now being who will come out on top? Will it be agency, media company or ad tech men?

You can enter here – and once entries close on 23 September two finalists will be chosen from each state and will then go head-to-head for the major title.
