Slingshot wins media for Goodman Fielder grocery

Slingshot has won the media planning, strategy and buying account for Goodman Fielder's grocery division. Havas Media was the incumbent media agency. 

Slingshot already manages media for Goodman Fielder’s baking brands, including Wonder White and Helga’s. Goodman Fielder's grocery business includes brands such as Praise, White Wings and Pampas.

“It made sense from a portfolio management point of view for the business to consolidate our media needs and spends with one media agency,” Goodman Fielder head of marketing, grocery Nicole Fox says.

“Slingshot were already doing a great job on the baking side of the business and impressed the grocery team during the pitch with their understanding of the consumer, insight and strategic thinking.”

Slingshot CEO Simon Rutherford said securing Goodman Fielder's grocery business was an important win for the independent agency.

Last year, Slingshot won media duties for Fisher & Paykel.
