Independent media agency Slingshot picked up three new clients, Sugar Australia, Solahart and Guardian Early Learning Group, all won without pitch.

Slingshot will handle media strategy, planning and buying for Sugar Australia’s CSR Sugar range. The agency will manage the account, with estimated billings of $1.5 million, from its growing Melbourne office.

“Sugar Australia have some big plans in 2017 that will see them invigorate the CSR brand and we’re delighted to be playing a role in helping them with that,” Slingshot CEO Simon Rutherford, says.

“It gives us more business in Melbourne and caps off a good start to the year for us around new business.”

Solahart has installed more than one million solar powered water heating systems in more than 70 countries. Slingshot will provide media buying and planning work for an account with billings of up to $2 million each year.

“Solahart is Australia's strongest solar brand, however the challenge is to ensure our message gets heard in the fragmented solar landscape. Slingshot presented a unique approach which appears to meet our expectations and we look forward to improved results as we roll out our future campaigns,” Solahart general manager Stephen Cranch says.

The Guardian Early Learning Group owns and operate 96 child care and early learning centres across Australia. Slingshot will be responsible for acquiring and retaining customer in addition to launching new centres.

Slingshot partner Simon Corbett says: “Guardian are leaders in the early learning category and have been constantly raising the bar for some time. Their values very much complement our own and that is always the basis of a productive and rewarding relationship.
