SBS has secured seven advertising partners for its broadcast of Friday night Hyundai A-League fixtures for the upcoming season, as SBS prepares to show games live on its main channel.

Hyundai, TPG, TAB.com.au, BOQ, CarsGuide.com.au, the Transport Accident Commission in Victoria, and One Goal are all on board to support the live broadcasts.

Last season SBS had the rights to broadcast A-League fixtures, but showed games on digital channel SBS2.

As a result of negotiaions between Football Federation Australia, Fox Sports and SBS, the Friday night fixtures will now be shown on SBS' main channel.

The move to show the matches live on its main channel should mean a ratings uplift for SBS.

The seven partners will receive exposure across all of SBS's A-League properties, including a weekly highlights program.
