R/GA has lured back Rebecca Bezzina from Cummins&Partners as its new VP managing director as Jon Holloway exits suddenly.

Bezzina left R/GA at the close of last year for the role of MD of Cummins & Partners' newly launched Sydney office. She returns to R/GA as VP managing director, taking on the role from Holloway, and will report to EVP managing director of APAC Jim Moffatt. Holloway is thought to be on gardening leave following the decision.

Bezzina first joined R/GA when it opened its doors in the Australian market in 2013, as client services director. She was promoted to MD client services where she was tasked with growing the office and its roster of clients.

She previously worked at M&C Saatchi's Mark for more than five years on accounts including Commonwealth Bank and held a role at GPY&R.

Moffatt says: “We are very happy to welcome Becs back to R/GA as VP, managing director," said Moffatt. "Her deep understanding of our culture, her past history of success at R/GA, and knowledge of the Australian marketplace make her the perfect person to lead our operations here."

Holloway joined R/GA in February last year from The Conscience Organisation where he was Sydney MD.

R/GA has more than 70 staff and a roster of clients including Telstra, YouTube and Macquarie.
