Publicis Sapient, the digital transformation hub of Publicis Groupe, has boosted its strategy and consulting service and digital transformation capabilities with four senior appointments in Australia.

Jane Headon has been appointed as director, strategy and consulting.

Prior to her appointment with Publicis Sapient, Headon led Avanade's strategy and change practice for three years and has most recently led platform and personalisation strategies for clients across sectors including energy, education, health insurance and government.

Fiona Morphett and Christopher Toyberg-Frandzen have also joined Publicis Sapient’s strategy and consulting practice as manager, strategy and consulting respectively.

With close to 15 years experience, Morphett has a diverse career background having worked at KPMG, Kantar MiIlward Brown and the Attorney-General’s Department. Most recently, she was strategic transformation manager at Telstra.

Toyberg-Frandzen joins Publicis Sapient from his Copenhagen-based role as group transformation lead – payment solutions at Danske Bank. He led strategic planning and implementation to deliver on the bank’s key initiative: the provision of a ‘one banking’ solution through a new payment solutions platform.

Bruce McLeod also joins the team as associate director, product management. He brings more than 20 years experience with him, working with companies including CBA, Microsoft, Menulog, Macquarie Group, and most recently Thoughtworks.

The new hires come off the back of plans for further expansion, which were revealed last year with the appointment of new managing director for Publicis Sapient Australia Sarah Adam-Gedge in November.

“Continuing on our strong business growth trajectory, we are investing in our consulting and digital transformation capabilities with four of the best in the industry. I am very pleased to welcome Jane, Fiona, Christopher and Bruce to the Publicis Sapient team,” Adam-Gedge says.

Earlier this year, Publicis Sapient announced the retirement of its legacy brands as part of a unification process across all services, following a global rebrand.

More recently, Publicis Sapient was named a leader in The Forrester Wave: Global Digital Business Transformation Accelerators, Q1 2019.
