Barangaroo has appointed a cast of thousands to promote the government's foreshore precinct, with Publicis Mojo tasked with creative engagement services for the project.

After receiving 120 submissions across all categories, more than a dozen agencies made the roster to support the project for a two-year period.

The shortlist for creative engagement services was whittled down from six, with Publicis pipping Droga 5, Leo Burnett, McCann World Group, Naked Communications and The One Centre Group to take out the creative arm of the panel.

Three agencies have been appointed to oversee digital media services: Analog Folk, Really Useful Crew and Soap Creative.

These agencies were selected from a shortlist of eight, including AJF Partnership Sydney, Alpha Salmon, Publicis Mojo, Folk and R/GA Media Group.

Another three agencies have been appointed to the public relations services section of the panel, they are: Access Public Relations, Bang and KJA. These agencies were selected from a short list of six.

These agencies were selected from an original short list of more than two dozen agencies which was revealed by AdNews last month.

The project will feature a casino, residential and commercial buildings and the area will be opened in a staged process with the project estimated for full completion in 2023.
