It’s hard to keep track of the account wins and losses across the industry. To help you keep on top of who has what, here’s a wrap of the pitches from the week.

Modibodi
Australian period and leak-proof underwear brand Modibodi has appointed creative agency Emotive to lead its brand strategy and campaign work globally. Launched in Australia in 2013, Modibodi sustainable, period and leak-proof apparel have disrupted the market of disposable sanitary products, like pads, liners and tampons. The Emotive team will work with the brand on its next thought provoking campaign that will introduce Modibodi to a new global audience.

Fuso
Independent agency Akkomplice has been appointed lead strategic advertising and creative agency for Fuso Truck and Bus Australia. The move comes as the Fuso brand, part of Daimler Truck and Bus Australia, brings in a raft of new model launches and technology advances including the zero emission e-Canter. Akkomplice is tasked with helping Fuso drive growth and long-term success in the Australian market.

Barbeques Galore
Barbeques Galore has appointed The General Store as its strategy and creative partner. The brand had previously hired The General Store for a strategy project and the relationship evolved into an ongoing partnership. The General Store has developed a new brand platform, Now You’re Cooking, for Barbeques Galore. It was designed to amplify Barbeques Galore’s position as the destination barbeque retailer.

Place Management NSW
Sydney-based independent PR and earned creative agency Poem will continue to lead earned and influencer channels after winning a competitive pitch to retain the NSW Government’s Place Management NSW account for The Rocks and Darling Harbour. With the retained relationship beginning in 2017, Poem will continue to evolve its ongoing earned communications strategy for the next two years, driving Sydneysider visitation to the precincts with a focus on Sydney families, millennials and CBD workers.
