PHD has been appointed to the $4 million media account in Australian, for international tax and accounting firm H&R Block.

The business was won in a non-competitive pitch after PHD completed a series of successful projects for the brand.

“H&R Block has some exciting transformation plans and we believe PHD are the right partners to support us in achieving our goals," H&R Block marketing and digital director Louise Cummins said.

PHD will be responsible for all media planning and buying duties. The move will also allow H&R Block to tap into the full Omnicom offering.

“We are really pleased to be working with H&R Block and are excited to start collaborating on new initiatives for the upcoming year," PHD group business director Anelida Pardini, who will lead the account, said.

In August, PHD Melbourne was also appointed media agency of Vocus Consumer Division, which includes the Dodo and iPrimus brands.
