PR agency One Green Bean has hired Naked Australia’s CEO Carl Ratcliff to join the agency in the newly created position of chief executive officer.

Also joining the agency is Claire Salvetti, who is currently Mango Sydney’s managing director, will take up the role of Managing Partner.

The two new leadership positions were created following the departure of the agency’s managing director Matt Buchanan, who recently relocated to take up the role of MD at One Green Bean, London.

Ratcliff has over two decades of experience, most recently the CEO of Naked’s operations across Sydney and Melbourne, and prior to that Managing Director of BWM Melbourne. Previously, Ratcliff has held senior executive planning roles throughout his career, which has spanned both Australia and the UK.

Salvetti has held the role of managing director at DDB’s Mango since 2012, leading many of the agency’s clients including Westpac, McDonald’s, IKEA and Volkswagen.

Founder and group CEO, Anthony Freedman said: “As a team of 70 now, we felt we needed both more senior people and more years of experience than could be achieved by recruiting an MD. With the new structure of CEO and Managing Partner, alongside our other management team members, we believe we have not just created a structure that better meets our current needs, but also sets us up for further growth in the years ahead.

“Carl and Claire are exceptional leaders in their respective fields, we believe their combined capabilities will give both our clients and staff unrivalled expertise to draw upon.”

Salvetti takes up the role in March 2015, with Ratcliff due to commence mid year.
