Ninemsn launches four sites in 48 hours

Ninemsn has launched four new sites in what it is calling a complete remake of its lifestyle offering. Editor in chief and publisher at ninemsn, Hal Crawford, said: “This is a major milestone for Mi9 and ninemsn – launching four new sites in 48 hours. Built from the ground up, I am incredibly proud of the team and these engaging new sites which add new depth to the ninemsn portfolio.” The sites that have been launched are Honey, which it is touting itself as a boutique destination for women who want to hone their style and engage with smart fashion content. As part of the launch Ninemsn has named Australian-born stylist and fashion professional, Naomi Smith as editor for the site. Ninemsn also launched Coach, a diet and fitness site as well as Pickle a news aggregation site and Ninemsn's Lifestyle Homepage.

New editor named for InStyle

Jackie Frank, group publisher fashion and health, Pacific Magazines, has named Emily Taylor as editor of InStyle Australia, effective from next month. “I am pleased to announce that Emily will re-join Pacific Magazines to lead InStyle,” Frank said. “With her exhaustive knowledge of the fashion and beauty industry in the local market, combined with her international experience, Emily is the ideal candidate for the role of editor.” Taylor returns to Pacific Magazines from London, where she has worked extensively in print, digital and social media on some of the UK’s leading fashion, beauty and lifestyle retail brands including John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, and Net-A-Porter.

Unilever and Lions hunt for top marketing startips

Unilever's startup hub Foundry is teaming up with Cannes Lions to launch the hunt for the worlds Top 50 marketing technology startups. The Foundry 50 will be chosen by a panel of experts, including Brent Hoberman – serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Founders Forum, Rose Lewis – co-founder of startup accelerator Collider, Rob Dembitz, Head of Lions Innovation, Caitlin Ryan, Group Executive Creative Director from Karmarama, Olivier Garel, Head of Unilever Ventures and Marc Mathieu, Senior VP of Global Marketing Unilever. Applications are now open. “Startups are pioneering the future of marketing. As an industry, we have an opportunity and a responsibility to support, scale and invest behind these innovators” said Mathieu.
