DGM appoints search specialist
SYDNEY: DGM has appointed Faye Chen as senior search specialist. She joins the company from Starcom, where she was campaign manager. Previously she worked at Doubleclick and Performics, and has worked on brands such as Masterfoods, Subaru, Holden, Samsung, Sony, Mars Petfood and HP. She will be charged with improving paid and organic search for DGM clients. 
World Vision enlists YouTube vloggers
MELBOURNE: World Vision Australia has enlisted three YouTube video bloggers to spread the brand's message. Vloggers Tom McLean, Shawna Howson and Alex Day, from Australia, Canada and the UK respectively, have travelled to Zambia with World Vision and are posting video blogs about the journey and the brand's story. The videos can be viewed on the vloggers YouTube channels, and on a microsite. www.worldvisionvloggers.com 
MCN appoints group account manager
MELBOURNE: Multi Channel Network (MCN) has appointed Matthew Bartlett to MCN group account manager in Melbourne, to mstart immediately. Bartlett replaces Melina Augoustakis, who was promoted to the newly created role of strategic planning director in Melbourne. Bartlett comes from Val Morgan Cinema Network, where he was business development director. He has worked as a senior sales executive at Nine Network and as general manager for Bishop Cunliffe Advertising. MCN has also appointed Kath Sroka to the role of group strategic manager on MCN's independent channels, and has promoted Beti Kostoska to the role of strategic integration executive.

MELBOURNE: World Vision Australia has enlisted three YouTube video bloggers to spread the brand's message. Vloggers Tom McLean, Shawna Howson and Alex Day, from Australia, Canada and the UK respectively, have travelled to Zambia with World Vision. The videos can be viewed a dedicated microsite.

MCN appoints group account manager

Online advertising network Populace launches
A new online advertising network called Populace, backed by Vice publisher Michael Slonim, has launched. Populace claims to reach half a million 16 to 29-yr-olds with local sites in the network including Sneaker Freaker, Tone Deaf, The Enthusiast and UnseenTV, along with Australian views of global youth sites Hypebeast, Lookbook, Resident Advisor and Chictopia.
