Carr's Crackers in $5,000 giveaway
Carr’s crackers, is giving away $5,000 in search of Australia’s best cracker of a joke. The campaign was developed by experiential London agency Hot Cow, now also operating in Sydney. To be in with a chance to win $5,000, consumers need to visit www.australiasbestcracker.com, upload their joke and then get their friends voting for them. The promotion will be supported with a PR campaign, publicity stunts and dedicated website.
IAB Australia appoints programs manager
SYDNEY: IAB Australia
has appointed Michael Taylor to the role of programs manager. He will
chair the IAB Research Committee and the IAB Standards and Guidelines
Committee. Taylor was most recently a senior product manager at Optus.
He has also held senior managerment roles at Foxtel, Austar, News
Limited and Fairfax.
The Starlight Foundation and Optus launch Connectember
SYDNEY: The Starlight Foundation's online peer support initiative Livewire and Optus have partnered with digital agency Autumn:01 to launch on online campaign called "Connectember". The campaign aims to raise money and awareness for young Australians who are living with illnesses and disabilities. The campaign will run throughout the month of September.
Red Ark to launch Prime in domestic market
Red Ark has been appointed to launch Prime Facility & Asset Management, a commercial maintenance service company, into the domestic market. The agency is responsible for strategy development, positioning, brand advertising and promotion. A TV campaign for Prime is to be unveiled on Sunday 22 August in Queensland before a national roll out later this year.
