LinkedIn snares 2 million members down under
LinkedIn has passed 2 million members in Australia while expanding its local operations with the opening of a Melbourne office. LinkedIn now has 20 staff members in Australia working across sales, marketing and recruitment in Sydney and Melbourne. LinkedIn has over 100 million members globally.

Clemenger Proximity CD departs
Clemenger Proximity Melbourne's creative director Peter Bidenko has left the agency, taking on the role of regional executive creative director at Leo Burnett in Dubai. He joined Clemenger Proximity in 2009. He worked previously at Tequila, Lowe Hunt and Wunderman. 

Coles Express launches app via Webling Interactive
Coles Express has launched the Coles Express mobile app, designed by Sydney-based digital agency Webling Interactive. The app features a Trip Planner, a Fuel Finder, and special offers. It also has a multiplayer quiz game called Trivia Express.

Estee Lauder launches social media push
Estee Lauder has launched a social media campaign for the launch of NEWDayWear through The Affinity Partnership. The agency won the business following a competitive pitch. The NEW DayWear campaign launched mid-March.

Colman Rasic video scoops gold at NewYork awards
Colman Rasic’s third instalment in the MTV EXIT music video series for UKB has been awarded gold at the NewYork Festivals Film and Television awards at a ceremony in Las Vegas.The spot links three different human trafficking issues – child labour, sexexploitation and domestic servitude abuse.
