Twitter adds promoted Moments

As part of its ever increasing suite of ad products for brands, Twitter is introducing promoted Moments to complement the Moments product it launched earlier this year. It will allow brands to ‘curate’ a story using a collection tweets, video and rich media content, and serve it as a package to users. It works in tandem with promoted trends. NAB is the first Australian brand to use the new feature, kicking off today with a promoted Moment around the launch of the AFL season. Australia is the fourth region globally to launch to product, following the US, UK and Brazil.

Andrew Knott, National Australia Bank CMO says: "On the eve of the return of the AFL season, NAB will use promoted Moments to celebrate that AFL football is back. NAB's Moment shares what some of footy’s biggest names are excited about in 2016, featuring the likes of Geelong captain Joel Selwood, Melbourne women’s captain Daisy Pearce and AFL CEO Gil McLachlan. Moments is a fantastic opportunity to use a rich media format in a very engaging and surprising way. It opens up Twitter as an even more compelling consumer experience."
