Ogilvy Brisbane lands University of Queensland; expands team

Ogilvy Brisbane has been aapointed as University of Queensland's new creative agency. The move will see Ogilvy take over the strategy, creative and digital engagement for the University's research and teaching facilities. The win comes on the back of a series of new campaigns by the agency for Queensland State Government, Queensland Music Festival and a one-off positioning piece for active wear brand Lorna Jane. The agency has also added eight new staff members to team including a new copywriter, artists and multiple new Account Handlers.

Gemba appoints Roberts to head APAC strategy

Sports marketing agency Gemba has appointed Craig Roberts to head strategy in Asia-Pacific. He will be responsible for Gemba’s management consultancy and venues and facilities divisions across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Major clients in these divisions include World Rugby, Adidas China, Cricket Australia, Football Federation of Australia, National Rugby League, Victorian Government, New South Wales Government, New Zealand Sport and the Australian Sports Commission. Roberts previously worked with Gemba on a consultancy basis to help evolve its digital offering, leading projects for clients including National Rugby League (NRL).
