Vivaki director to lead Woolworths at Carat

Carat Sydney strengthens its senior investment team on key account Woolworths with the appointment of Georga Payne. Reporting to Carat chief investment officer Ashley Earnshaw, Payne’s new role is head of investment across the Woolworths account - Carat’s largest client nationally. Payne has more than 16 years of media experience, working previously as investment director at VivaKi and at ZenithOptimedia on the Telstra and Nestle accounts, among others.

Droga5 expands into media planning in US

Droga5 has added a media planning offering to its US arm, calling it an addition to its existing communications strategy department which will provide a more holistic approach to strategic planning. Since its client roster for media strategy and planning capability ranges rom publishing to financial services, gaming, packaged goods and sports, having this new tool seemed like a natural extension for the agency, Droga5 told The Drum.

Ogilvy Melbourne appoints head of digital

Ogilvy Melbourne has appointment Alistair Bruyns as its head of digital. With over 16 years of digital experience across Europe, North America and Africa, Bruyns has held digital roles at Y&R, Saatchi & Saatchi and worked across brands including Pizza Hut, Olay, Toyota, Vodafone and Citibank.
