Deloitte Digital hires Simon Stacey to front CX practice

Deloitte Digital has appointed Simon Stacey as spatial and brand experience director, to further develop the company’s customer experience practice across Australia. Stacey brings more than 25 years’ experience in aligning the physical and digital brands around customer journey, communication brand strategy and creating customer brand experiences. Stacey was previously creative director at Designworks, working with global brands including Amazon and Tesco.

Leo Burnett names Connect lead

Leo Burnett Sydney has announced the promotion of Emily Taylor to head of connect strategy, where she will be responsible for managing and leading a collective of cross-discipline strategists. In her previous role as planning director, Taylor led strategy teams for agency clients including Samsung and McDonald’s.

Archibald/Williams appoints former Young Lions finalists

Archibald/Williams has appointed a new creative team of Nicole Conway (copywriter) and Tim Batterham (art director).

The duo began their partnership at JWT and also worked together at Mullen Lowe Profero. Last year they were finalists in the Cannes Young Lions competition in the digital category.

Red Engine and Engine Room Productions merge

Red Engine and Engine Room Productions have announced a formal merger positioning the companies to better streamline content production and distribution. Under the arrangement both will retain independence but will provide the ability to build broader integrated creative services. Red Engine was Specialist Agency of the Year at this year's AdNews Agency of the Year Awards.

AOL launches DeskAid for Australian non-profit startups

AOL has launched a new initiative to support Australian non-profit start-ups in a need of a boost. It is giving up to three entrepreneurs in the non-profit sector the opportunity to work alongside its Australian team for six months or more.
