D&AD releases stolen pencils film

D&AD has released a film showing its pencil heist stunt, featuring reactions of creatives from London to Melbourne.

On 11 January, the organisation stole back its D&AD trophies from across the globe, to remind the industry that when it comes to awards, nothing matters more.

Now, footage of the heist has been turned into a film – with some very stunned faces on tape.

Jamie Oliver calls industry to tackle childhood obesity

Jamie Oliver has called on the advertising industry to help tackle childhood obesity, according to The Drum.

The celebrity chef, who in Australia has been the face of Woolworth’s ‘fresh food’ campaign, was speaking at the UK’s Advertising Association event noting that advertisers need to push their marketing to support the cause.

“If McDonald’s wanted to make salad cool they could. I couldn’t. The point is whether they want to make it cool,” Oliver says.
