Clems Melbourne taps McCann London

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has appointed AJ Coyne as group business director responsible for leading the agency’s Mars account. Coyne joins from McCann London where he ran the global Pandora Jewellery and Xbox business. Prior to McCann, he worked at Ogilvy & Mather leading the Philips grooming and audio business. Clems Melbourne managing director Paul McMillan says Coyne is testament to the agency's goal of having an “unfair share of the best talent in the world”. Will Ferrell co to produce US version of Stan series

Will Ferrell's production company Gary Sanchez is producing a US version of Stan original series No Activity, by production company Jungle. Commissioned by CBS All Access, the eight-part series will also premiere exclusively on Stan in Australia and further expands the network's partnership with CBS. Stan recently unveiled its upcoming TV slate which includes a series reboot of Romper Stomper; its first ever feature film and a star-studded sci-fi anthology series based on Philip K. Dick's short stories Electric Dreams. Read more on Stan here.

Apple collaborates with Bonzai

Ad creation platform Bonzai has inked a deal with Apple news to provide digital display advertising. Bonzai, which helps brands to create, traffic, measure and optimise their HTML5 ads, is now officially accredited to work with Apple. The collaboration will enable art directors and designers to design, build and ad-serve creative for Apple News. Bonzai VP of sales Rupert Pay says: “We're thrilled to be working with Apple News on such a premium content proposition. As an APAC business that was initially built for the Australian market, we couldn't be more proud to be certified by arguably the world's most valuable brand. Archibald / Williams to launch Somark Innovations products

Creative agency Archibald / Williams has been appointed to develop the brand identity and communications strategy for Somark’s SensaLab ecosystem launch. Somark, which has its headquarters in San Diego, is a data lab which looks into animal welfare. Somark has based its development and manufacturing operations at the Tonsley Innovation Hub in Adelaide, South Australia. The company will use its Adelaide base to develop technology that will greatly improve the efficiency and accuracy of pre-clinical medical research. More on the agency here
