Cannes Lions Creative Effectiveness jury announced

Airbnb chief marketing officer Jonathan Mildenhall will lead the Creative Effectiveness jury at the 64th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June. From Australia, former Droga5 Sydney CEO Sudeep Gohil, who is also the co-founder of Tyde, was named as one of the judges on the jury, as well as Ogilvy & Mather CEO John Seifert and Burger King head of brand marketing Fernando Mercado. 

Amber Harrison tweets deleted by Twitter

Twitter has removed a number of posts from the account of Amber Harrison after Seven West Media convinced a judge to stop her leaking damaging and confidential documents about the company on social media. Harrison, whose Twitter bio reads 'whistleblower', has in the last few days published a number of "deeds of release" on her account that Seven claims are the property of the company, following her affair with CEO Tim Worner. Earlier this week Seven hit Harrison with an injunction that prevents her from sharing confidential information. The injunction order is currently in place until the 21 February. 

Disney drops PewDiePie for anti-Semitic videos

The Disney-owned Maker Studios and YouTube have pulled away from popular vlogger PewDiePie after reports circulated he had posted several videos featuring anti-Semitic imagery. Maker Studios said on Monday that it had severed ties with the star, Felix Kjellberg, a Swede better known by his YouTube alias PewDiePie. YouTube said on Tuesday that it had canceled the release of a coming series and dropped him from a premier advertising program.
